Airprene |
Soft breathable neoprene providing flexibility
and comfort. Airprene is vented but maintains insulation. Durability
and comfort are provided through the nylon lining. |

Dryfast |
DRYFAST is PONTETORTO's unique moisture management
system. The demand for more technical performance grows because
technical sportswear grows.
We named the system DRYFAST because it vastly improves
the technical drying ability on any fabric to which it is applied.
It dries quickly, but most importantly it keeps the body dry from
moisture.
DRYFAST works because it makes fibers hydrophilic
(moisture loving) so they can absorb, wick and evaporate moisture
for increased comfort in aerobic activity. |

Dura-tex |
Highly abrasion resistant dura-tex nylons increase the lifespan of
the garment. Dura-tex is an ultra durable protective material that
is created by applying a resin coating to the outer surface of a double
knit nylon. This coating can increase resistance to abrasion by up
to
4-5 times.

DWR plus |
DWR+ is a durable hydrophobic coating that causes
water to bead and run off fabrics. When coated to the outer layer
of fabrics it substantially reduces the natural water absorption of
the garment whilst making it easier to clean. |

Flatlock Stitch |
Wetsuit neoprene is lapped together and then stitched,
this creates a flat, flexible and comfortable seam. Flatlock stitching
can be identified by a band of interlocked thread on both sides of
the wetsuit, sometimes utilising a coloured thread for visual effect.

Flexi Dry |
This is a 4-way stretch fabric with super efficient
hydrophilic properties which wicks moisture away from the skin. These
two characteristics mean a snug skin-tight fit perfect for comfortable
underwear which keeps you warm and dry. |

GCX Tech |
GCX 3 BREATHABLE
BREATHABLE.WATERPROOF.WINDPROOF
OUR MOST DURABLE, WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE FABRIC.
Tested in extreme conditions this technology has proven to protect
the wearer whilst actively participating in extreme sailing. GCX3
is a three-layer system consisting of a woven nylon outer shell fabric
giving protection and durability. The mid layer is a microporous membrane
which eliminates water penetration whilst allowing water vapour to
escape. The inner layer is a polyester tricot, which protects the
breathable membrane against abrasion whilst providing the wearer additional
comfort. GCX3 three layer fabrics are available in different weights
to suit different applications.

LIGHTER WEIGHT BREATHABLE AND WATERPROOF FABRICS.
GCX2 gives the wearer comfort and protection from the elements whilst
sailing. The outer layer consists of a woven polyester or nylon
shell that gives protection and durability. The inner layer is a
microporous membrane which eliminates water penetration whilst allowing
water vapour to escape. GCX2 fabric is reliable throughout strenuous
movement and allows excess heat and moisture to move away from the
body.

LIGHTWEIGHT WATERPROOF FABRICS.
GCX Waterproof and Windproof fabrics are conventional coated fabrics
consisting of two combined layers. The inner layer consists of a
polyurethane coating that eliminates water penetration. The high
tenacity Nylon outer layer provides a highly durable fabric that
stays waterproof and windproof throughout strenuous movement.

Micro |
These fabrics give you the greatest comfort for the
lightest weight. In the manufacturing of our microfibers we use yarns
with more than 250 filaments in a space of half a millimeter. Packed
tightly, these incredibly soft filaments give you the hand of cashmere.
We think we have the most luxurious microfiber available. These fabrics
are perfect for all base layering uses. |

We laminate our fabrics with a windproof membrane and make it perform

Quick Dry Micro Fibre |
This is a breathable lightweight insulating fabric
which represents a superior alternative to polyester fleece due to
its enhanced drying and wicking characteristics. The result is a lighter
weight garment offering increased performance due to its ability to
keep the user dry and warm under extreme conditions. |

T2 Neoprene |
T2 neoprene is second generation of titanium technology
and it is used in the main body panels of most of our wetsuits. T2
neoprene acts in a similar way to a survival blanket, a titanium impregnated
reflective layer is sandwiched between the neoprene and the interior
nylon lining of the wetsuit, this lining reflects body heat on the
inside back to the body. |
